Growing Up WILD

The camp will feature hands-on science explorations, song and movement and garden discoveries, while campers explore the amazing world of nature.

The Growing Up WILD program is a new program from Project WILD, an environmental and conservation education program emphasizing awareness, appreciation and understanding of wildlife and natural resources.

The organization focuses on several key factors for young people, teaching them how to think about wildlife, not what to think, providing fun, hands-on educational activities, helpful, scientific background information, problem solving and decision-making skills, while being “kid-tested and teacher-approved.”

Growing up WILD was developed to provide early childhood education program that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites children to explore wildlife and the world around them.

Through a wide range of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills.
