On Saturday, March 19th Dallas will celebrate its 37th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Greenville Avenue, starting at 11 AM. The parade route stretches from Blackwell & Greenville to Greenville & SMU Blvd.

Generic_Map_2016More than 125,000 people are expected to be in attendance along the 2 mile route, and there will be more than 90 floats in the parade with a total of approximately 1,700 parade participants. One of the groups participating will be our very own For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL).

A lively and enjoyable day is expected for all at the largest St. Patrick’s parade in the Southwest!

A limited number of tickets are available for those who would like bleacher seats outside the Meadows Building at 5646 Milton. The cost for these seats is $20 for each adult and $15 for each child. It is recommended that, if the bleacher seats interest you, you purchase tickets well ahead of time here. Bear in mind that the seating is first-come, first-serve and the parade starts promptly at 11 AM.

Proceeds from the parade benefit the Greenville Avenue Area Business Association’s scholarship fund, a not-for-profit that has donated $72,500 to Dallas ISD since the parade’s inception.
